2nd St. Brewery Tour FAQs

  • I got a confirmation e-mail; do I need a physical or printed ticket?

No, you do not need to print anything. Upon arrival, please use the name the reservation is booked under to check in (just like a reservation at a restaurant).

  • If someone in our group is under 21, can they come on a tour?

Individuals under the age of 21 will not be admitted for a tour unless they are with a legal guardian or spouse who is over the age of 21.  Individuals under the age of 21 need a photo ID to prove relation to the guardian or spouse. This does not apply to young children.

Individuals under the age of 21 will not be admitted to our facility during the Open House on Saturday evenings.

We do not serve individuals under the age of 21.

  • If I’m pregnant/a designated driver do I need to pay?

Yes; the cost of the ticket is the same regardless of it you plan to enjoy samples during your tour.  Your admission cost includes a skyline pint glass, a token to exchange for a beer at a local bar or restaurant, and a tour (Open House includes a mini-tour).

Water is available for guests who do not wish to sample beer.

  • I don’t want to go on a tour; can I just buy a beer?

If you would like to drink beer, the only way you can do so at our facility is through sampling on a tour.

We sell beer to go in growlers, cans, bottles and bombers during tour hours and Monday through Thursday from 4:00-6:00pm.

If you would like to sit and enjoy a pint of our beer, we would recommend Central Standard Craft Distillery (next door to our brewery) or the MKE Ale House, our brew pub located at 213 North Water Street in the Historic Third Ward.  In addition to all of the tap beers that you’d find at our Second Street location, the Ale House also has a full menu.

  • I have printed tour tickets: how do I make a reservation?

Please e-mail tours@milwaukeebrewing.com with the number of tickets you have and the date and time you would like to attend a tour. You must bring your tour vouchers to redeem at check-in the day of your tour.

  • How do I get walk in tickets?

You can purchase walk in tickets starting at 3:00 on Friday, noon on Saturday, and 1:00pm on Sunday. We save about a third of our tickets for walk-in sales.

There is typically a line on Saturdays starting around 11:00 or 11:30, and we usually sell out of all of our tours between 12:30 and 2:00.

We recommend having a back up tour time in mind upon arrival. You never know who is going to be ahead of you and what they’re going to be purchasing.

  • Is there parking available?

We do not have our own lot. There is ample street parking in the neighborhood and a public lot on our block.

  • Where can I use my token?

    Please see map below.
