Grand Madame Pineau Barleywine

The latest addition to our Destination Local Series – Grand Madame Pineau Barleywine.

Milwaukee’s historic red light district once had a larger than life character in Miss Kittie Williams. Her turn of the century brothel was largely regarded as, “one of the finest in the U.S.” Our Pineau Aged Barleywine puts to mind a beer that may have been served to the upscale male clientele in one of her exotic Brew City parlors. Aged in Pineau barrels, a brilliant mahogany ale with a silky warm pallet. A sherry-like nose with subtle hints of leather, oak, tobacco, and raisin. Dark Cherry, plum, and orange linger behind the dark caramel flavor.

Will be arriving at MKE on November 22nd. Sales will start at 3pm.  You can take home your own bottle for $15.99 (limit 4 per customer). Sales start at 3pm, first come first serve. We will be checking ID’s and serving samples to everyone in line while you wait. For more event information click here.

A limited amount of draft will be availble at the Milwaukee Ale House throughout the evening until it runs out!
